Due to the weather…. again…. All-county honor band has been postponed to the Monday and Tuesday AFTER spring break.

With all the schools out with the weather HS NBDA is postponed. We are looking at dates in February to reschedule. We have to check with the clinicians etc. so I’ll let everyone know as soon as I know.
Don’t know about school tomorrow yet… so check the news.

You guys all did an AWESOME job last night. I really appreciate all of your hard work. I’ve heard lots of good comments from people who were there, and I thought every band did well.
Thank you to everyone for the generous Christmas gift. I see new speakers in my future!

I need several students from each section to perform for the faculty on Tuesday August 11th at 8:30am. We will be playing the fight song, go big blue, etc. Maybe the National Anthem.
If you are interested and / or able please reply to this post and arrive at the band room Tuesday at 8:00am to warm-up etc.

Wow, what a great summer band camp. We got so much accomplished! I’m really excited about the marching show, playing in the stands at the football games, 7th grade band, and getting all of the beginners started. This is really my favorite time of year, (I know I’m a big ol’ band nerd).
Are you guys excited about starting too??
